Welcome to the ISPE student chapter at UC Davis. We are a diverse group of science and engineering majors,
undergraduate and graduate students, that are
interested in a career in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry. If you are

General Meeting
DAY AND ROOM CHANGED!!!
Our 2nd general meeting of the year will now be held on
Monday November 16th at 6
pm in Kemper 1065.
Our guest speaker from industry will be Luciano Pollastrini, a chemical
engineer working in Manufacturing Sciences at Genentech in Vacaville. He
will be joining us to talk
about his profession and to give career advice to students. We will also be
finalizing the details of the Genentech tour (see below).
You must attend
this meeting if you are signed up for the Genentech tour. Pizza and
beverages will be served!
Genentech
Tour
Genentech has opened up their facility in Vacaville to our student chapter
for a plant tour on Thursday November 19th. We will be leaving Davis at 10:30
am. Tour starts at 11 am and has a duration of 2 hours. Genentech will give us
access to their Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Lab areas. Space is limited, so
sign up early. Must be a registered ISPE member to attend.
Get your ISPE T-Shirt!
We are currently taking orders for our new ISPE T-shirt. The shirt will be
black with white letters and will include the ISPE logo. The preliminary
price is $12, but it can go down if many students order. The idea is to wear
it to our events, starting with the Genentech plant tour. Sign up for
